I needed a concept design to start with, so with some AI magic I've generated a couple of character concepts and some seamless patterns. 
Decided to use this as a reference but the details were too much and not so organic.
So I just used couple of primary forms and that ancient/divine looks in my design. 

HP Sculpt in ZBrush > ZRemeshed for LP (kind of) > UV Unwrap in Maya > Substance Painter 

I had this idea of converting this creature to some cyberpunk-ish mechanical thingy with some hardware around it's face so with this vessels/wrinkles details I left some room for a futuristic story. Like some visible metal parts inside the skull or weird liquids illuminating under the skin type of stuff
reduced some excess skin details that were out of control. With Substance Painter and proceduralism, it tends to happen a lot.
